My Emotional Well-Being
My Emotional Well-Being
Has it been bonkers for you lately? I can relate and I have been a bit off grasping onto the positive outcomes from all what we’re going through these days. For my own well-being, I need to keep my mind busy. With the challenges that had been thrown at me, I’ve learned to adapt pretty well and proud of myself to stay true to myself.
My truth is I need to stay busy working. It's hard when you're laid-off, right?
Well, I’ve learned that I can stay busy learning new skills and taking action on them creating something I’ve never done before. I’ve learned that I love learning and will keep inquiring and being curious about life. I’ve also learned to keep myself busy by working towards a cause or goal. That being, working on learning all I can to be, my goal, a self-sufficient business person that will have a successful business run on it’s own while I live an abundance secured life with my loved ones.
There’s so much for me to learn and get under my belt, and I continue to learn more about being a successful entrepreneur while I’m new at it. I’m pretty much building my experience with new skills and following through the actions as what a business person would do in my trade, but the caveat of that is in my pocketbook, I’m not getting the salary I use to get while working at my corporate job. Basically the work I’ve been doing since I’ve gotten laid off has been volunteer, pro bono work.
I know that ‘pro bono’ work is not viable and sustainable, but I think it’s essential when you are a new entrepreneur so that you can assess what your business strengths are and what you need to focus on when you are truly in business. Especially at these trying times for other entrepreneurs that need my expert help. I am giving them a break to help them pivot their business to get back onto a sustainable path. I feel what I give to them is going to come back 100x fold. I believe it!
I found out that I love helping people. That is my top mission and core values is having quality customer service helping people that seek my help and expertise. It gives me extreme joy to solve a problem for people that are truly grateful to my services. I know when I officially open my business next year that I will have return clients, plus their referrals because of my quality customer service I provide.
All that I do positively does take practice. I’ve learned to use emotional well-being tools and meditations to help me get through a trying moment or day. It’s a gift that I can collaborate with someone else that I truly admire their work as well. That is why I am here sharing my gift to you as well.
My gift, I have been a client and friend to Nancy Wunderlich for over 10 years. I met her in Boulder, Colorado when I lived there struggling through the 2008 recession, a divorce, lost my homes, and tough times. Her expertise services of counseling helped me with my physical anxiety problems I had where I would start hyperventilate creating me to blackout. I’ve learned to calm my mind and have positive imagery with positive affirmation. All this doing soul-centered breathwork with her that helped me tremendous. I can say today, after 10 years that I am not using any anti-anxiety pills anymore, nor have I had any physical anxiety attacks thanks to the work of Nancy and her tools she has taught me. This is true to the big unknown we had recently, I was able to stay calm and work through life keeping myself busy focusing on a positive outcome.
It works everyone. I just want you to know, if you need that additional wellness check, I recommend seeking out Nancy Wunderlich.
